If our gallery has 2 or more rooms (or multiple views of the same room), we have to setup the Markers to navigate within the environment, change perspectives and enter or exit rooms.
Click on “My Art Gallery” (1) on main menu on the left.
Click on “Marker” (2). A window will open showing a preview of the first default room, and at the bottom, you can see the other rooms in the gallery and select them. Choose a room and use the mouse to find a place where you want to place the new Marker.
Click on the green icon “Add Marker” (3) icon on the top-right corner
Add a MarkerIn the popup window, select the destination room under the “Room Target” (1) section. In this example, “Modern Warm Small Squared”.
The first checkbox, “Override initial position” (2) allows to change and override the default initial view of the room. Move the mouse over the room image to set it.
The second checkbox, “Add marker to go back” (3), automatically creates a Marker in the destination room to go back to the starting room. In this case we will add the second marker manually, so we left this option unchecked.
Click “Add” to create our first marker.
Set the appearance of the MarkerThe “Size” (1) allows to enlarge or reduce the size of the Marker.
The “Perspective” (2) change the perspective to align the marker with the orientation of the room.
Adjust the “Rotation” (3) to achieve the desired appearance.
After making these adjustments, click on “Save”, the Marker will appear on the room.
Actions of the Marker:Clicking over the Marker, a small window will appear with 4 options:
By clicking on the first icon (1) it opens the “Move” window to edit the position of the marker.
By clicking on the “Edit” icon (2), it opens a window with all the settings for the Marker.
Click on “Delete” to delete the Marker (3).
To go to the destination room linked to the Marker, click on the last icon (4).
Set the style of the Marker:By clicking on “Edit”, a window will open. Click on the “Style” (1) tab.
Click on “Type” (2) to set the Marker appearance (it can be an icon, a label, a preview of the room, etc.)
Once done click on “Save” (3).
Move to the destination roomWe can open the destination room by clicking on the Marker and selecting “Go To”.
Add a second Marker to go BackTo return to the starting room, we have to add a new Marker in the destination room, since we didn’t flag the “Add marker to go back”.
Repeat the same process to add a new marker in the other room.
The connection between the two rooms will then be active.
The number of available markers depends on the subscription plan you have.
By following these steps, you’ll be able to navigate through your virtual gallery seamlessly. Congratulations, you’ve now created your first Markers!
