Hotspots are interactive elements that can be added to the Gallery. They include not only photos or artworks but also other multimedia content, making the gallery more engaging and dynamic. Learn how to add an Artwork in 3D (Painting, sculpture, object or photo) and show it in Augmented Reality.
Accessing the Hotspot Feature
From the main menu, click on “My Art Gallery” (1).
Click on “Hotspot” (2) in the left menu.
Select the gallery (3) where you want to add a new Hotspot. The default view will display the first room in 360°.
Navigate the room by clicking and moving the mouse to select an area where you want to add the Hotspot.
To change the room, click on the preview image at the bottom section.
Select the gallery where you want to insert your 3D Painting.
Click on the green “+” icon (4) in the top-right corner.
Adding a 3D Painting
In “Style”, select “Painting (or other image)”.
In the Content section, select “Object 3D (GLB/GLTF)” to upload a 3D version of the painting. This version will be displayed in augmented reality only through a phone.
Positioning and Configuring the 3D Painting
The “Move” window will open, allowing you to position the painting as needed.
Once positioned, click “Save”.
A window will pop up with five available tabs: Settings, Content, Style, Tooltip, and Schedule.
The “Style” tab will open automatically. Click on “Browse”, select your painting, and upload it.
Configuring 3D Painting Settings
Click on the “Content” tab, then click “Browse” (1) to select and upload the 3D painting.
To ensure visibility, upload the painting in two formats: GLB and USDZ.
Enabling 360° and Augmented Reality Features
To enable a 360° view, click on “Interaction” (2) and select “Horizontal and Vertical”.
To allow users to view the painting on a wall using augmented reality, click on “AR Placement” (3) and set it to “Wall”.
Add a Title and Description, and adjust the painting’s view using the Interaction option.
Additional customization options include Exposure, Environment, and Animation.
Once all settings are configured, click “Save”.
Important Notes
The 3D view of the painting will only be accessible through a phone and not from a computer.
